Hello friends!
The pressure's on! The first word that someone says gives you a first impression of that person, one that's positive or negative. So, here it is...JOYFUL.
JOYFUL is one of my favorite words because it describes someone who knows the difference between happiness and joyfulness. The first depends on circumstances and is fluctuating, superficial, and temporal. The second depends on Someone Who is lasting, constant, and eternal. True joy is never affected by the weather, other people, a bad exam grad, or a mean boss. Because it stems from Jesus Christ - Who is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER - our joy can be never-ending as well.
How amazing is that?! What a wonderful promise to cling to! I hope you are encouraged and uplifted tonight, knowing that you can find lasting JOY in Jesus Christ, regardless of your current situation.
